colorado.

we took a quick trip to colorado last week! it was so much fun to be back - we have missed it. after this hot summer in alabama the cool weather out there was amazing! noah did great traveling - he slept for most of our flight.

all of kris' family got to meet noah. it was fun to see them all again. becky pulled out randle's baby pictures and in some of them he and noah looked just alike. our boy is definately a burtoft! :)

we went on a couple hikes around the foothills of pikes peak. it was beautiful. noah was a trooper... we put him in our sling and he came right along!

4 weeks old.

he is 4 weeks today. i can't believe how fast the time goes. i can't wait for him to smile. sometimes he looks like a little grin should just pop out on his face... so close... it'll be so fun to see what it looks like!

he normally sleeps pretty good through the night. usually wanting to eat every 3-4 hours. sometimes he goes 5 which is amazing and last night he went 6 and 1/2!
for those rough nights though i'm thankful for a nap.

noah's umbilical cord finally fell off so he got his first bath! he seemed to enjoy the water and was very content to just sit there and look around. if you look closely at the 1st picture you'll notice he is peeing! :) i didn't try to get a picture of that i just noticed it when i put the pictures on the computer. gotta love those little boys!

yesterday,

mom, noah, and i met up with angie and charlie and went visiting!

we went and saw amy pattillo and baby mathew who was born on august 14th

then we went and saw clay and heather and baby clayton who was born on august 22nd

how fun to have all these little boys and won't they be so cute when they are all running around together?!

3 weeks

noah went to the doctor yesterday and he is 8 lbs 13 oz. he's growing right along!
he is a lot more alert now and has longer periods where he is awake.

cousins

angie made dinner for us all last night and my parents were keeping joshua, abby, and sarah, so we got a picture of all the cousins. they are all so cute! it's amazing how our family just keeps growing! what fun.
